What are the responsibilities and job description for the MECM Engineer position at CEI?
CEIs Fortune 100 Client is a world leader in media and entertainment, and they are adding a MECM Engineer to their team in Lake Buena Vista.
- 12-month contract with potential for extension
- 2 days per week onsite (25% travel outside of FL)
Key Responsibilities:
- MECM Administration & Optimization – Act as the primary owner of MECM instances, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
- Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting – Analyze logs to diagnose and resolve MECM-related issues, minimizing downtime and improving performance.
- Cross-Team Collaboration – Partner with imaging and application teams to understand their challenges, provide solutions, and enhance MECM functionality.
- Process Improvement – Continuously optimize MECM to streamline deployments, reduce failures, and enhance the end-user experience.
- Travel & Support – Travel up to 25% to various locations, providing onsite support and guidance as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing and maintaining MECM environments at an enterprise scale.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze logs and resolve complex MECM issues.
- Experience working closely with imaging and application teams to align MECM with organizational needs.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a large-scale IT environment, preferably in media, entertainment, or hospitality industries.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting for MECM optimization.
- Familiarity with modern endpoint management tools and strategies.
