QA Manual Tester – Hybrid | Pittsburgh, PA
Job Details:
- Pay Rate: $42 - $45/hr
- Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH possible at some point)
- Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card Holders Only – NO C2C or Sponsorships
- Hybrid Schedule: Tues & Wed onsite in Downtown Pittsburgh (Candidates must live within commuting distance; no relocation candidates)

About the Role:
We are seeking a QA Manual Tester to join the Customer Portfolio Group, responsible for testing corporate websites, mobile applications, and internal business functions such as billing and Oracle utilities. You will work in an Agile environment alongside 4 developers and 1 tester per team, ensuring high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual test cases in an Agile or Waterfall environment.
- Review user stories, requirements, and documentation to validate system functionality.
- Utilize Azure DevOps (preferred) or other test management tools such as JIRA.
- Query test data using SQL Developer (SQL experience is a plus).
- Document and report defects, collaborating with developers and stakeholders.
- Create and manage test evidence in Azure DevOps.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and document findings.
- Automation experience is a plus, especially with Selenium.
- Exposure to C#, Java, or Python is beneficial.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps (preferred) or other test management tools.
- SQL experience is a plus for querying test data.
- Exposure to automation testing is a plus, particularly Selenium.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Work Model:
- Hybrid Schedule – Onsite in Downtown Pittsburgh on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
- Candidates must be within commuting distance; no relocation candidates.
