- Hybrid position, working Friday remotely and M-Th onsite at 1274 North Facilities Way, Orlando FL
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive software design documents and review processes for industrial control-based platforms.
- Create safety analysis documents for safety-critical systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain software code for PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff).
- Implement and support C/C code for industrial embedded controllers.
- Build and maintain software for industrial Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs).
- Prepare and execute control system acceptance test plans and oversee system commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals and safety standards are met.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Experience in industrial controls or the entertainment ride and show industry.
- Strong programming skills in PLCs and C/C for embedded systems.
- Skills:
- Proficient in software development planning and documentation.
- Strong background in version control and collaboration tools.
- Experience with risk assessments and IEC/ISO functional safety standards.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
