We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with 3 years of experience in manufacturing process optimization, tooling design, and lean methodologies. This position is on a direct hire basis. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Strong focus on assembly layouts, design, development, implementation, work procedures and processes.
- Design tooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support product design and manufacturability.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and defects.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in fluid management or mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of assemblies, assembly layouts, production processes, tooling, and automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) for design and process layouts.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Must be able to write work procedures from scratch.
