Family Consultant for Autism Program - Hybrid

Though this is a hybrid position with the majority of services provided remotely, some in-person services are required for each client. We are looking for Family Consultants in the central Maryland area.

Family Consultant/Case Manager responsibilities:

• Developing comprehensive treatment and behavior plans for each client
• Assisting family members on implementation of their child/teen’s treatment and behavior plan and interventions used
• Training staff members on instructional strategies required for successful implementation of the treatment and behavior plans
• Reviewing with the family an individual’s progress
• Completing quarterly supervisions for all staff on your caseload
• Working with the recruitment specialist to find the best staff for each client
• Collaborating with the administration team to ensure documentation for each client meets the requirements set by COMAR and the Autism Waiver
• Meeting with service coordinators for client updates

Job requirements:

• Masters degree in special education or a related field or a BCBA
• At least 5 years experience working directly with clients on the autism spectrum
• At least 1 year supervisory experience
• At least 1 year case management experience
• Experience writing treatment plans/ IEPs and behavior intervention plans
• Must past state and federal background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
