Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning and growth in preschool-aged children.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Provide individualized attention to each child; and support their unique learning style.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices in child development.
Requirements
- Previous experience in preschool settings, daycare facilities, or as a nanny is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to various age groups (infant, and toddler care experience is beneficial).
- A passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
