Facilities Assistant (PM Shift)
Campus: Georgetown
Reports to: Campus Facilities Lead
Summary of Role
Assist Facilities Team in maintaining consistent excellence in facilities care, including maintenance, set-ups, and tear downs
Position Status & Schedule
- Non-Exempt, Hourly
- Full-Time
- Scheduled hours: 12PM – 8PM
- Monday through Friday; hours vary per week around scheduled conference/event needs; may include weekends and evenings
- Christmas, Easter, and Dream Team Appreciation service dates are black-out days for time off. Other events may be required outside of your regular schedule; you will be informed in advance of these requirements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist with facilities and equipment maintenance requests
- Assist with the upkeep of church facilities, including outdoor spaces
- Assist with set-up and tear-down for classes and events
- Assist with opening, closing, and securing facilities and campus
- Assist with building preparation for weekly services
- On-site presence for evening events as needed

Education & Experience
- Minimum 1-year relevant work experience preferred
- Experience and familiarity with macOS and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Must be able to move about inside the office and around the Church facility.
- Must be able to position self to maintain supplies and equipment on lower shelves and in closets.
- Frequently move supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate lawn maintenance equipment, lift, power tools and other equipment needed to perform assigned work tasks
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including but not limited to stacking chairs, unstacking chairs, setting chairs in rows, setting up folding tables and chairs in large venues
- Ability to work outside in various climates and temperatures
