ACCRUAL ACCOUNTING / FINANCIAL COORDINATOR – Middleton, WI
Temporary to Hire career opportunity
$22.00/hour DOE
Monday – Thursday NO FRIDAYS / Core hours 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
30 hours per week
Duties and Responsibilities:
- General Ledger and monthly statement preparation (e.g. balance sheet, profit and loss)
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reporting, Clerical
- Assist with Nonprofit budget development
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Online Banking and Remote Deposit Transactions
- Enter memberships (new and renewals) into the database
- Respond to emails, mail and phone calls
Required Experience:
- Requires 3 to 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, or education, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reports
- Experience in Accrual Accounting a must
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience (3 year minimum)
- Knowledgeable in Nonprofit Accounting
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office 365
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Be an independent worker with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working as a small team
- Ability to multitask and be flexible
- Have a positive and professional attitude and demeanor
