Industrial Maintenance Technician

5am-3:45 pm Monday-Friday
$25-30.00 hour
Proficient in electrical maintenance, repairing mechanical equipment, and ensuring the facility is in optimal condition.
Will train new hire in welding and fabrication if needed. -
Responsible for all electrical and PLC issues and updates.
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. - Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. -Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. -Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. -Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. -Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. -Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. -Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. -Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. -Keep daily log of work done to turn in to shift supervisor at the end of each shift. -Work in very low to very high temperatures with proper personal protective equipment. -Understand and follow Lock out Tag out procedures. -Perform landscape and snow removal duties. -Clean up the work area during and at the end of each shift. -Maintain a clean and safe work area. -Other duties as assigned.
-The ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly. -The ability to grasp, hold, and use hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, and hammers. -The ability to grasp, hold and use power tools such as vibratory tools and drills.
-The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
-The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
-The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations for safety reasons or to stop machines for maintenance
-The ability to kneel and crawl in performance of normal maintenance duties. -The ability to work in extreme weather. -The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
-Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend and twist for long period of time throughout the day.
Maintenance Tech background at least 4 years a MUST !
Salary : $25 - $30
