We’re looking for a Sales Enablement Director to drive strategic initiatives to improve the capabilities of our sales organization.  This role reports to the VP, Sales and will have a significant influence on the continued growth of Celigo. 

What would you do, if hired?

  • Work with GTM Leadership to develop, execute, and optimize a sales enablement program.  Determine sales enablement priorities with GTM stakeholders
  • Manage all aspects of the sales enablement business including resourcing, budget, revenues, and margin to meet corporate objectives
  • Evaluate and evolve Celigo’s sales technology stack to drive scale, automation, and efficiency. 
  • Lead a Sales Enablement team to design, plan, implement and manage sales/channel enablement programs and initiatives
  • Perform remote and in-person training with new hires and existing sales teams.  Design and provide effective training materials & programs for stakeholders. 
  • Create and deploy content, collaborating with SMEs in the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.  Ensure creation and dissemination of all sales enablement collateral including sales playbooks, pitch decks, data sheets, call scripts, FAQs, competitive battle cards, etc.
  • Build a reporting process to measure, manage, and optimize results. Develop the metrics and the overall KPIs for the sales enablement team and initiatives, communicate out and measure against results pivoting as necessary to improve overall performance.
  • Determine the baseline skillset of the sales team across all departments by analyzing current skills, processes, and knowledge base. Partner with the sales leadership team to identify strengths, understand the gaps, and how to fulfill the areas for development.

Who are we looking for?

  • 5 years experience managing sales enablement, or learning and development, supporting a fast-growing, high-performance sales organization.  Track record of delivering qualifiable impact on company revenue
  • Prior success as a sales professional, advisory services professional, or the equivalent of an Advisory Sales Enablement role.  Prior, quota-carrying, mid-market SaaS sales experience a plus.  A strong understanding of modern sales methods and processes, including sales content, tools, and training
  • Proficient in the use of productivity tools, customer relationship management tools, and marketplace awareness of vendor technologies to support the enhancement of the sales organization Ability to develop and secure relationships with buyers, decision-makers, influencers, and other referral sources across a variety of industries
  • Success in working closely with service line leaders, partners, practitioners and other Sales Executives to develop strategies and tactics that drive targeting programs and win business
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with a variety of audiences, specifically including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development
  • Experience with content management and learning management systems
  • Experience deploying enablement activities large-scale for sales processes and tools
  • Ability to forge strong relationships and motivate teams and individuals

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $150,000 to $200,000 per year for this position.  Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
