THIS IS NOT A DESIGN ENGINEERING POSITION

Celina Aluminum Precision Technology is looking for a Casting Engineer to join our team!

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering field or equivalent engineering experience (3-5 years)
- Past experience developing and refining casting processes, including mold adjustments, and heat treatment to improve product quality and production efficiency.
- Robotic Experience
- Experience producing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Experience with developing budgets for projects
- Must be able to communicate in written and verbal forms to Supervisors, Engineers, and General Associates in a professional manner.
- Must be able to lift/carry 40lbs. Have the ability to access any area of the production floor. Must be able to use hand tools on manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum proficiency.
- Must be capable of producing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods by observing and working on the production floor. Must be able to make adjustments to the equipment and help maintain equipment.
- Collect and analyze data to implement improvement countermeasures by comparing before and after baselines and results.
- Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating labor and material costs.
- Work with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
