Tri Star Career Compact is committed to equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity. We are seeking a dedicated I.T. Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year and help develop the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
Requirements:
A minimum of five years of experience in the information/cybersecurity technology field and a high school diploma or GED AND be willing to obtain a teaching license OR hold a valid teaching license in Career Technical Workforce Development.
The candidate’s knowledge base and teaching ability should include, but not be limited to Networking, Coding, IP Addressing, Network Equipment (switching/routing, testers, servers, etc.), PC Repair, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), IT Solutions, Cybersecurity, and Troubleshooting.
This position demands excellent organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with students of all skill levels, meet deadlines, enjoy working with people, and teach employability skills. Candidate must work with other Tri Star programs for cross program teaching and work well with local companies and Tri Star schools. Candidate will serve as BPA Advisor and this program is a College Credit Plus (CCP) course.
Compensation: Salary is based on experience and education. Benefits included. Tuition reimbursement is also offered.
