Cella is seeking a results-driven Growth Marketing Manager (In-store) to drive strategic growth and elevate the shopper and consumer experience within a popular furniture company. This role will focus on optimizing in-store marketing strategies and omnichannel touchpoints to maximize store traffic and sales.
As a key member of the marketing team, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of in-store marketing initiatives. This includes defining the retail message hierarchy, enhancing the retail value proposition, and spearheading campaigns and evergreen promotions for both company-owned stores and independent dealers. Your efforts will directly impact store traffic, sales results, and brand consideration among our target audience. You will collaborate closely with merchandising, operations, sales teams, field management, independent dealers, and account executives to build and maintain programs that fuel the growth and health of the companies in-store sales and experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of in-store omnichannel touchpoints, aligning with brand strategy and consumer/shopper insights.
- Direct the execution of in-store marketing and creative media assets to enhance unique retail value propositions.
- Develop and implement campaigns and evergreen promotional strategies, tactics, and prioritization to drive growth in the retail market.
- Implement retail and marketing tactics using a test-and-learn approach to optimize strategies and enable scalable implementations.
- Manage the campaign and promotion process, leading the creative team in in-store point-of-sale development and fulfillment, and manage budgets to achieve cost savings.
- Oversee the customization and development of promotional assets and marketing playbook/toolkits to support the retail store network.
- Ensure accuracy in pricing, promotional offers, product upgrades, and disclaimers, coordinating with merchandising and operations for product and promotional alignment.
- Counsel individual Account Executives to maximize participation in marketing programs, improving traffic, sales, and brand consistency.
- Develop and maintain a project management process for creative and production, ensuring timely deliverables within specified specs.
- Collaborate with internal brand, product, and retail marketing teams, as well as external agency partners, to coordinate creative and production timelines and processes.
- Collaborate closely with retail team members and agencies to execute advertising, events, and other in-store functions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with 6-8 years of relevant experience, including 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
- Experience in retail marketing or advertising, with familiarity in retail programs, campaigns, and promotions.
- Experience in omnichannel initiatives, in-store consumer experience, and shopper satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and data-driven skills.
- Strong sense of design, composition, and creative.
- Proficiency in PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
- Understanding of the creative process, services, and production.
- Curiosity and passion for delivering results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage external resources.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Scope & Impact:
This role is responsible for campaigns and evergreen promotions that contribute nearly 50% of the companies annual sales. You will manage the creative and production of materials for several promotions and marketing toolkits annually, supporting a network of over 350 stores. Effective management of resources within defined timelines and budgets is crucial.
