Compensation Range: $30 - 35 per hour

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Development Designer to collaborate with our Product Development team in designing and developing artwork for hard home products across both adult and children's categories. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for color and trends, along with proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. You will play a key role from concept through to prototype, ensuring that our product artwork aligns with brand standards and resonates with consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute artwork for designated product programs, ensuring high-quality and on-brand visuals using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Development team from initial concept meetings to the execution of artwork and prototype stages.
• Select color palettes and apply current color and trend knowledge to ensure product designs are visually compelling and market-appropriate.
• Provide support in creating design specifications, ensuring all artwork meets production and manufacturing requirements.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met with flexibility and attention to detail.
• Communicate design ideas clearly and effectively to internal teams and stakeholders, offering conceptual insights while maintaining alignment with product vision.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a must.
• Passion for home products, with a keen understanding of current color trends and design aesthetics.
• Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and bring conceptual design ideas to life.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through on multiple projects with ease.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of competitive products and an awareness of market trends.
• 3 years of experience in Product Development, ideally within home goods or related product categories.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Product Development and familiarity with home product categories (adult or kids).
• A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials, and design innovations.
