Overview
The Associate Scientist will be responsible for a variety of functions including tasks of doing tasks accessioning samples, working on verifying entries after reconciliation, package management, routine solution preparation, ordering, and may be involved in audit responses.
Responsibilities
• Work with Clinical Operations, Data Management, and CROs to coordinate clinical sample receipt and shipments and perform routine sample identifier reconciliations for each clinical trial study at pre-determined time-points throughout each clinical study. • Work with team members to schedule analytical testing per study-specific protocol.• Order supplies as needed• Perform a variety of laboratory tasks such as preparation of reagents, histology and ELISA/MSD assays.• Assist scientist in performing bioanalytical and research studies• Performs additional Preclinical R&D and Bioanalytical duties as needed.
Qualifications
• BA/BS in a biological science, with demonstrated laboratory skills. An advanced degree would be a plus.• Ability to work in a regulated environment per GLP, GMP, or CLIA.• Familiarity with scientific documentation practices such as following, writing and reviewing analytical SOPs (preferred).• Understanding of immunoassays in a bioanalytical setting.• Hands-on laboratory experience.• Strong communication and organizational skills.• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
