Quality Technician
Job Description:
Quality Technician interprets work instructions, engineering drawings, or schematic diagrams and confers with production, management, or engineering staff to define and update the applicable quality and reliability standards or documents. They assist the Quality Engineers and Quality Manager in the inspection and measurement of products, the creation of inspection plans, processing and analysis of non-conforming materials, products and processes. Quality Technician ensures product, process and procedure audits on Celltrons' quality systems as requested. Assist the Quality Engineers as needed in the creation of first article inspection reports and performs data collection reporting.
NOTE: Inspector experience preferred
responsible for:
- Perform quality inspector duties as needed or requested.
- Provide training and mentoring for quality inspectors.
- Ensure non-conforming product and materials are properly documented.
- Ensure that Celltron processes are performing as planned per procedures and document any discrepancies.
- Assist with the analysis and reporting of Return Material Authorization (RMA), and disposition of Material Reject Reports (MRR).
- Provide detailed analysis on product and process traceability throughout Celltron’s processes.
- Perform and report AS9100 internal auditing duties and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) auditing duties per procedure.
- Assist the quality department in the development of component inspection plans
- Perform data entries for testing and inspection as needed
- Assist the Quality Engineer in the analysis and closure of internal corrective actions
- Complete first article inspection reporting duties as required.
- Execute product and process surveillance audits as requested.
- Support the calibration department in locating and providing verification of tooling to procedure.
- Help the Quality department in supplier’s notifications and SCAR’s.
- Carry out other quality duties and functions and requested or assigned
