The Technical Field Support Specialist will work closely with our other technicians, our Customer Service team, and other cross functional teams to help ensure customer satisfaction with our specialized instrumentation and systems.

The Technical Field Support Specialist will work closely with our other technicians, our Customer Service team, and other cross functional teams to help ensure customer satisfaction with our specialized instrumentation and systems.
The Technical Field Support Specialist will:
- Install, service and support our systems, software and products remotely and at the customer site
- Train our customers on our systems, software and products
- Investigate customer issues and help find appropriate solutions
- Test, validate and qualify our products before they are shipped to our customers
- Troubleshoot computer, electronics and mechanical equipment
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess a positive customer relationship management focus
- Log all pertinent client information regarding support calls and outcomes into ticketing system
- Be able to listen, comprehend, effectively question and interact with a customer as well as handle potentially difficult customers
- Approach assigned duties with a sense of ownership and dedication
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Experience interacting directly and frequently with customers
- At least two years’ training and/or experience in a technical support environment
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, demanding, and rewarding environment
- Willingness and ability to travel
