At least 15 years of age Lifeguard certification, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid from an approved agency |

All of the above are requirements of employment and are expected to be maintained and current at all times. SCS may reimburse at company discretion. |

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT: |
|
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to run, swim, paddle and walk long distances; stand and sit for long periods; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear both in a person from close and long distances and by phone or radio; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate lifesaving equipment. The employee regularly lifts, pushes or pulls persons or equipment over 100 pounds. The employee must be physically able to perform all rescue skills, including backboard rescue and deep water lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee regularly works under outdoor weather conditions, is routinely exposed to the sun, may be exposed to extreme heat or cold; works on uneven and/or slippery surfaces and is periodically exposed to hazardous conditions/situations. |

SALARY: Total rewards package up to $15.00 an hour depending upon experience and qualifications. |

The successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment vision screening, drug testing, and background check. Your employment with Swim Chicago Southland is a voluntary one and is subject to termination by you or Swim Chicago Southland at will, with or without cause, and with or without notice, at any time.
