Celularity Inc. (Nasdaq : CELU) is a regenerative medicine company developing and commercializing advanced biomaterial products and allogeneic, cryopreserved, placental-derived cell therapies, all derived from the postpartum placenta.

This role will be primarily responsible for functional material sourcing, ordering and procurement as well as a broad range of supply chain activities directly impacting key commercial and clinical programs. This includes process and continuous improvement, communication, metrics creation and tracking.

We are looking for an experienced leader who will help us build and strengthen an organization fit-for-growth to successfully contribute to and deliver on company’s goals and objectives.

Requirements :

Lead planning process. Develop supply plans across demand, supply planning and inventory.
Drive key supply decisions and manage risk
Oversight of clinical and commercial raw materials, consumables inventory levels and demand. This includes but is not limited to inventory accuracy and risk, material planning and management, expiry tracking and functional purchase requisition management.
Place routine purchase requisitions and work cross-functionally to ensure timely availability of needed materials
Work cohesively with cross-functional teams in support of operational efficiency, flexibility and cost management as it relates to material supply, demand and planning.
Responsible for functional supplier / vendor relationship management with a strategic sourcing focus.
Lead supplier bottleneck management and supplier constraints while determining issue resolution. Identifying need for dual sourcing and implement other risk mitigation strategies.
Continually monitor supplier pricing and work to achieve cost effective solutions. This includes price negotiations, strategic sourcing, etc.
Collaborate with Quality maintaining Supplier Qualification Program with focus on supplier performance.

Skills / Knowledge Required / Desired :

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, Business, or Project Management strongly preferred.

10 years of experience in Supply Chain with demonstrated procurement and sourcing experience preferably in pharmaceuticals or biologics.

Working understanding of fundamental quality and regulatory compliance aspects.

Track record of excellent cross-functional negotiating skills required.

Experience in risk management.

Demonstrable ability to continuously improve supply chain performance and consistently achieve targets for service, cost, and quality.

Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills; strong organizational skills with a focus on details and strong analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage, lead and work collaboratively with teams.

High degree of emotional intelligence, strong listening skills and written / verbal communication abilities. Effective in working with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Strong business acumen with entrepreneurial mindset
