Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Selections: Collaborate with homeowners to assist them in making design and material selections, ensuring choices align with project budgets and overall vision.
- Vendor Coordination: Schedule and manage customer appointments with vendors to facilitate the selection process for materials, finishes, and other project components.
- Online Platform Management: Input customer selections and relevant project data into our online management platform to ensure accurate documentation and tracking.
- Progress Reports: Write and provide detailed progress reports for customers, including photos, to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation & Communication: File selection specifications and ensure proper sharing with subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of work on-site.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Assist in qualifying subcontractors, including bidding and modifying contracts, ensuring they meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Building Permits: File and manage the submission of building permits with local municipalities, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Change Orders: Create and manage change orders for customer approval, ensuring all adjustments to the scope of work are documented and communicated clearly.
- Takeoffs: Complete takeoffs for accurate material and labor requirements, ensuring project estimates and resource allocations are aligned with actual needs.
- General Project Assistance: Provide general support to the Head Project Manager in project coordination, including filing estimates, sourcing materials, completing material orders, scheduling subcontractors, and any other necessary tasks to keep projects on track.
Skills & Requirements:
- Computer Literate: Must be comfortable using computer programs and online project management platforms. Excel skills are a bonus for organizing and managing project data.
- General Construction Knowledge: A solid understanding of construction processes, terminology, and best practices is essential for success in this role.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have access to reliable transportation for travel to job sites, meetings with vendors, and other related duties.
- Desire to Learn and Grow: A strong willingness to learn and grow within the company, taking on more responsibilities and developing professionally over time.
- This is a 1099 position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
