We are looking for a bubbly and energetic outgoing marketing rep. in the Bakersfield area.
The sole purpose of the Marketing Representative is to expand our referral base through targeted marketing campaigns and to serve as a valuable industry resource for our existing referral networks. The objective of this position is to enhance our brand recognition through traditional and strategic campaigns, and attract a minimum of 20 new referral relationships per week. Candidates must be skilled in building relationships with insurance adjusters and agents, property managers, real estate agents, and internal staff.
As a Business Development Representative, your responsibilities will include:

As a Business Development Representative, your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and marketing to all referral sources (this includes cold calling, appointment setting and in-person visits);
- Cultivating lasting relationships with key referral sources to secure jobs;
- Identify and attend key events and association meetings to establish new referral sources;
- Managing inventory of marketing materials and reordering materials as needed;
- Handling swag and leaving behind gifts/food for referral sources within a designated budget;
- Planning and executing email campaigns for event cultivation and brand recognition;
- Liaising with internal staff to remain informed about all referral source jobs;
- Maintain assigned account bases while developing new accounts;
The qualifications for the Business Development Representative include a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of experience with a track record of consistently increasing sales over time, excellent customer service skills, and expertise in booth and trade show operations.
