Description
Responsible for supporting all aspects of the mission of RCBC as well as the Enrollment Management Division to which the Outreach & Admissions Department reports. This individual will assist the Director and Assistant Director of Outreach & Admissions in the development and implementation of a college-wide recruitment plan encompassing both on- and off-campus events.
This is a Support Staff union position as stated in the Support Staff Collective Bargaining Agreement- Grade 9
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The primary and most important overall responsibility of all employees is to provide service in a pleasant, helpful, and effective manner to our students and other members of the College community.

Experience Required
Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Collaborates with department members and/or the Compliance, Assessment and Research team to support planning, assessment, data collection and reporting for continuous improvement of the college.

Do you have two to three years of professional experience in an educational setting?

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of both on and off campus recruitment activities and events
- Represent Rowan College at Burlington County at business, industry, community, and high school events
- Provide individualized attention to prospective students, visitors, and callers to the Office of Outreach and Admissions
- Respond to prospective student inquires and keep set appointments to meet with prospective students
- Perform on-site information sessions at various locations in and around the Burlington County area
- Develop and maintain school/guidance counselor relationships
- Provide information and assistance to prospective students regarding college policies, procedures, academic programs, and non-credit programs
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required
- Two to three years of professional experience in an educational setting.
- Experience working directly with diverse populations
- Knowledge of Student Services functions including student recruiting
- Outside sales experience
- Proficiency in a foreign language
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Technologically proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (specifically, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and other database management software
- Motivated individual who is results-driven, innovative, and open to new ideas and projects
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize projects and tasks
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends
