About this opportunity :
Cenovus is currently looking for an Occupational Safety Specialist to join our team at our Dublin, OH office. We are also open to considering candidates based at any of our other US locations.
The individual in this role will drive key cross-site improvement initiatives by developing and implementing comprehensive plans. Assisting with the creation and maintenance of corporate and regional standards / procedures in the occupational safety space including but not limited to owning the creation of a suite of local COIMS management system documents, establishing site LOD audit plans, and training auditors while providing ongoing audit support.
What you'll do :
- Safety Initiative Design & Training :
Lead the development and standardization of safety-related processes and tools
Maintain relationships with site asset and corporate teams to support health and safety initiatives
Assist in the development of corporate COIMS standards and health and safety policies
Lead the design, training, and implementation of Line of Defense (LOD) auditing programs for the US region
Ensure compliance with US Government and state / local government regulations related to occupational safety
