Job Summary: The Chief of Staff will work closely with the Executive Director to lead strategic initiatives and manage cross-functional projects that drive the school's mission and vision. - Strategic Planning and Execution: Partner with the Executive Director to prioritize and drive key strategic initiatives. Provide critical support in setting the school’s vision and long-term goals, ensuring alignment across all departments.
- Leadership Team Coordination: Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Executive Director and senior leaders. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between leadership teams to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
- Project Management: Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects from ideation to execution, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Develop and implement systems to track the progress of major initiatives.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee the development and refinement of organizational systems and processes, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement, driving operational excellence.
- Board and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, preparing meeting materials, managing communications, and ensuring follow-up on action items. Facilitate communication with external stakeholders, including funders and community partners.
- Team Leadership and Development: Oversee key departments, ensuring effective execution of school-wide priorities. Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members to build capacity and leadership skills.
- Decision Support: Analyze data and provide insights to inform decision-making. Ensure the Executive Director and leadership team have the information and resources needed to make informed, strategic decisions.
- Crisis Management: Provide leadership during crises, coordinating efforts to mitigate impact and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Regular and reliable in-person attendance.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in education, business, public administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in education, non-profit, or mission-driven organizations. Prior experience working with executive leadership and managing teams is essential.
