Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist veterinary staff with animal handling during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Provide information to clients about medications, treatments, and post-care instructions.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting or animal care environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology is a plus.
- Familiarity with medication administration and veterinary critical care practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing front desk duties.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during visits.
