The Social Worker provides clinical social work services on units as assigned in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Centennial Peaks Hospital. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

This position is eligible for our generous shift differentials: Weekend Day (Sat-Sun) $2/hr *must work three and a half hours (3.5 hours) into a shift to qualify for shift differential.

Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field REQUIRED.

Supervision towards licensure available. Weekday and weekends available. Four shifts required per month, at least two must be on a weekend shift.

Requirements:

• The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field REQUIRED. Licensure preferred.
• 1 to 2 years mental health experience preferred. Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health inpatient setting preferred.
• License eligible degree; LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred.
• Prefer knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.
• Social Worker must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including, adults, adolescents, and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.
