Compensation/Benefits:
The Facilities Director position salary range is between $60,000 - $63,000 based on experience. We also offer the following benefits;

Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the Facilities Director is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Executive Director, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.
Essential Job Functions:
- Plan develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the Maintenance Department, its programs and activities.
- Develop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other departments.
- Assist in establishing a preventative maintenance program.
- Inspect storage rooms, workrooms, utility closets for upkeep and supply control.
- Participate in facility inspections as necessary.
- Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, studies, etc., to ensure control of equipment and supplies.
- Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations to the executive director.
- Determine departmental staffing requirements necessary to meet the maintenance department's needs.
- Schedule department work hours, create and post work schedules for the maintenance department.
Education:
Must possess a high school education, or its equivalent.
Requirements:
Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position.
Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
Must be licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the
general public.
Must be knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures, as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing maintenance
functions in nursing care facilities.
