Position: Long-Term Substitute K/1 Special Education Teacher
Location: Center Elementary School
Assignment Dates: February 16, 2025 - May 15, 2025 (dates are subject to change)
Description:
- Design, supervise and implement students’ IEP plans
- Instruct students using specialized curriculum.
- Develop curriculum modifications and adaptations.
- Participate in IEP Team meetings.
- Write effective IEPs for students
- Collect and analyze student data and monitor student progress
- Effectively work with a team of professionals to coordinate services including BCBA and related service providers
- Consult with general education teacher and related service providers.
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional strategies to facilitate inclusion.
- Write quarterly progress reports for IEP goals that are data based on student performance.
- Administer various diagnostic achievement assessments that identifies student capabilities as part of initial and reevaluation for
students.
- Write effective evaluation reports summarizing findings and making recommendations for assigned students.
