At CABA, we work as a team, providing you with the opportunity to further enhance your clinical skills by collaborating with other BCBAs who have expertise across a wide range of ages and diagnoses. You will experience regular 1:1 Clinical Case Reviews and participate in our Research Lab. We provide our BCBAs with targeted administrative support, to allow you to better focus on your clinical responsibilities. As a CABA BCBA®, you will also maintain an individualized professional development plan, designed around your own professional goals, allowing you to advance within the organization in accordance with your personal values.

The role of a BCBA® Supervisor is to apply the principles and philosophy of behavior analysis to do the following: assess the needs of CABA clients (skill deficits and problem behaviors), recommend a service presentation in line with the referring party (i.e. service line), develop intervention plans to address areas of identified need, train and oversee CABA direct staff and Care providers (e.g. parents, outside agency providers, etc.) to implement plans, continuously evaluate the efficacy of plans and trainings utilizing objective data, revise all of the above based on data based observations as applicable.

BCBA Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate mastery of ABA principles, theory, methods and evidence-based practices
  • Knowledge of effective practice, clinical decision making, outcomes-based intervention, and areas of practice specific to developmental disorders
  • To apply the principles and philosophy of behavior analysis in the presentation of each of CABA’s services and recommend a service presentation in line with the referring party
  • To conduct assessments including but not limited to:
  • Standardized skill assessments (e.g., VBMAPP, Vineland 3, EFL, etc.)
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments which include all the following: indirect, descriptive, and functional analysis.
  • Design behavior reduction and intervention plans to address areas of identified need and train CABA colleague(s) and outside care providers (e.g., parents, outside agency providers, etc.) to implement plans
  • Design skill acquisition programs to address areas of identified need and train CABA colleague(s) and outside care providers (e.g., parents, outside agency providers, etc.) to implement plans
  • Program and conduct treatment fidelity checks and demonstrate fidelity of interventions
  • Generate progress reports and incident reports for clients per funding source requirements, behavior analytic standards, and CABA standards
  • Provide on-going caregiver and staff training with a Commitment to CABA’s CORE values, AEIOUs, and Interagency Collaboration with other stakeholders and service providers
  • Provide direct intervention services to clients, as needed
  • Punctual attendance and participation in clinical team meetings
  • Prepare and present assigned presentations at clinical team meetings
  • Research appropriate behavior analytic intervention strategies as needed
  • Provide supervision to RBT® candidate(s) and/or certificant(s) and BCBA® candidate(s) as required by Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®), funding sources, industry standards, CABA and other relevant stakeholders
  • Provide on-going support to your CABA colleagues through feedback, mentorship and/or collaboration as appropriate
  • Adhere to The Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
  • Fulfill clinical supervision requirements as designated by funding source, ethical guidelines, appropriate industry standards, and CABA standards
  • Fulfill CABA requirements for billable clinical hours
  • Communicate issues related to fulfilling billable clinical hours to appropriate CABA colleague(s) in a timely manner
  • Complete other tasks and activities as assigned at the discretion of CABA

Requirements

Education:

  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Counseling, Education, Special Education or any other related area of study from an accredited institution
  • Coursework, specialization and/or degree in Behavior Analysis (or a domain of) preferred

Experience:

  • 2 years supervisory experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®)
  • 3 years of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), developmental disabilities, and/or other disorders as well as comorbidity with mental health disorders
  • 2 years of experience with severely challenging behaviors and the design and implementation of related assessment and intervention strategies

Licensure or Certification:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral™ (BCBA-D™) certification and maintained in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) for a MININUM of 2 years
  • Completion of 8-hour supervision training and maintenance of supervisor status per BACB® requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
