Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and personable New Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and Assist New Patients through the registration process in a professional and courteous manner
• Schedule Initial consultations for New Patients
• Maintain Patient Data Accuracy
• Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Ensure a professional atmosphere by demonstrating teamwork, effective communication, and mutual respect while collaborating with colleagues and departments to support organizational goals.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or certification in healthcare administration a plus)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or customer service role
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Spanish Speaker a plus
