TMS/Ketamine Technician
TMS/Ketamine Technician duties and responsibilities include scheduling meetings and appointments, insurance verification, greeting patients and providing support to the patients during their treatment of Ketamine/ TMS/ Lab wor ( If applicable). Previous experience as a TMS/Ketamine Technician would be an advantage. Experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties. Ultimately, able to ensure the smooth running of the programs and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.
TMS/Ketamine Technician is to organize and coordinateduties and procedures. The role is to create and maintain a pleasant environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, high quality patient care, as well as communication and safety.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point person for TMS/Ketamine Technicianduties including: patient care, maintaining equipment, insurance management for patients
- Schedule meetings and appointments
- Order equipment
- Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
- Partner with Director to update and maintain office policies as necessary
- Organize operations and procedures
- Manage all TMS/Ketamine/ Lab equipment (if applicable)
- Provide a welcoming supportive environment
- Managing insurance for patients through ensuring eligibility, co-pays, etc.
- Assisting with medication filling for providers as needed based on insurance
- Complete Pre-Authorizations for all patients as wel as Re-Authorizations as need
- As well as any other assignments as needed based on roles and or directives of Director
Skills
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Knowledge of scheduling, prescription filling, and insurance eligibility for commercial as well as medicaid and medicare policies for patients.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Familiarity with email scheduling tools
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- High School degree; as well as Certified medical Assistance
