Description - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Arts Integration and Creativity, this position provides part-time administrative support for the Education Services Team. In addition to completing reports, filing, and scheduling, this person will perform such duties as record keeping, coordination of meetings, written/phone correspondence, tracking supply orders, and occasional special projects.
· Works with the Arts Integration Specialist and the Director of Arts Integration and Creativity to administer CCE’s education outreach programs, CADRE (Creative Arts Designed to Reinforce Education), and VPK initiatives
· Record-keeping, including attendance, schedules, tracking and maintaining personnel information, creating monthly reports, and other administrative activities.
· Serves as point of contact for teaching artists and site directors
· Facilitates the scheduling and assignments for all outreach programming
· Maintains and updates filing systems for the Ed Services department
· Retrieves/researches information when needed
· Maintain and update website information on the Teaching Artist webpage
· Works independently and with a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
· Should have a strong work ethic, be reliable, productive, and meticulous
Build and maintain a professional relationship with staff, teaching artists, site directors, and funders/sponsors
Coordinate with any external evaluators to facilitate deliverables, outputs, data collection, and programmatic success
Support all CCE staff in their roles and contributions to the organization
Lead by inspiring and motivating others to perform well and improve where possible
Actively contribute to the productivity and effectiveness of the Education Services Team
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Must have at least 3 years of progressive experience in similar administrative positions
· Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google programs
· Must have excellent professional communication abilities
· Must successfully pass Level II background check and cleared through the
School Police of Palm Beach County
Physical Requirements
· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
· Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
