What is an Adult Day Support (ADS) Program?
Adult Day Support Programs help people with developmental disabilities improve their personal skills, express their rights, stand up for themselves and learn new skills.
What is a DSP and what does a DSP do?
DSPs support, teach and reinforce day-to-day skills that enable a person with a developmental disability to live in the community, participate in community life, and obtain employment. A DSP helps people with developmental disabilities reach their goals by helping them improve their independence, self-advocacy skills, personal skills and basic living skills. In this position, you will help people at a specific site and in the community. This job can be fun and rewarding!
