JOB TITLE : Administrative Assistant
DEPARTMENT : Sunset Park High School Summer Youth Employment Program
Exemption : Non-Exempt
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION : To provide administrative support critical to the successful rollout of SYEP.
REPORTS TO : Program Director
SUPERVISES : N / A
I. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to
- Recruit and enroll youth and young adult participants
- Review participant intake documents to verify information
- Verify file accuracy
- Enter payroll information into the online SYEP database
- Distribute SYEP MetroCards and pay cards
- Monitor worksites to ensure safe and productive work environments
- Complete written reports of worksite visits
- Perform general office duties : ?answer multi-line phone, check voicemails, file documents, etc., as necessary

The Administrative Assistant focuses on completing essential administrative tasks to support the management of the organization and program.
This is a temporary full-time position at 35 hours per week.
The position begins in March 2025 to the end of August 2025.
Hourly rate of $17.50 - $19 per hour, commensurate with experience and education.
