Job Type/Status: Full-Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations in all related member matters.
- Assist with daily transportation of clients and provide driving coverage as needed.
- Coordinate signing out for early dismissal from school for clients.
- Provide assistance to case manager's with daily program structure.
- Provide assistance with the implementation of group therapeutic activities.
- Provide clients with direct assistance in engagement of therapeutic activities which includes redirection of clients as needed.
- Participate and communicate in team meetings regarding clients' behaviors and ongoing treatment issues.
- Communicate potential emergencies or behavioral issues of clients to appropriate staff immediately.
- Assist with break times and arrangement of physical environment.
- Assist with preparing and providing clients with daily snacks and meals.
- Collaboratively participate in supervision as deemed appropriate with Children's Partial Care Program Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's degree with two years of experience in the provision of appropriate services to youth
- High school diploma with five years experience in the provision of appropriate services to youth.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred
- Sensitivity and ability to work with children in a multicultural setting.
- Valid New Jersey driver's license.
- Dependability and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to communicate clearly and consistently.
- Initiative and creativity.
- Understanding of Trauma Informed Care.
