Spring Oak Senior Living is actively seeking an Activities Assistant for our Atlantic City location! schedule varies.. The Activities Assistant will assist in the development and coordination of a weekly resident centered activity program including spiritual, intergenerational, outside activities, and entertainment.

Location: 101 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ
General Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-A creative high energy individual who has the skills necessary to motivate and promote programs while increasing participation and interest in activities for the senior residents.
-Experience in organizing and implementing internal and external therapeutic programs for the elderly.
-Compassion for the elderly and an understanding of the aging process.
-Professional communication with residents, families, staff and visitors.
-Ability to demonstrate overall positive image and attitude.
Job Requirements include and are not limited to:
-Maintain a monthly calendar of planned and formal activities.
-Coordinate volunteer programs, resident shopping, beauty shop and outings. Maintain departmental target goals and objectives.
-Facilitate socialization among residents.
-Invite and remind residents to participate in activities.
-Maintain a list of birthdays and special occasions recognizing these events in a timely manner.
