Job Type/Status: Internship
Duties and Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities for Job Role/Sector:
Learn how to appropriately navigate treatment, social service, and support systems
Will observe and provide supervised direct services through a variety of modalities
The registered intern will participate in regular supervision in accordance with the guidelines of his/her college
Complete any documentation, time sheets, and learning contracts with the Practicum Supervisor that are required by the college
Willing to learn new things and take on new tasks
Assists with gaining skills and resources needed to support the individuals served
Observe, learn, and utilize interventions based on systemic, behavioral, and cognitive modalities of collaboratively developing service plans and goals that are behaviorally specific
System collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
REQUIREMENTS:
The registered intern is currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
Be registered for college credits for a field experience or internship, or be enrolled in a class that requires a specific number of hours of community contact
Have a college instructor or liaison monitoring the intern's experience
At least 18 years old
The registered intern will have a valid driver's license per vendor agency requirements
