Position Overview :
CHEMED is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Internal Medicine team. As a staff nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting. This full-time position primarily involves day shifts, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Internal Medicine department, including assessments, care planning, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Monitor and follow up on patient lab results, ensuring timely communication of results to patients and providers.
- Process and manage medication refills in collaboration with providers and according to established protocols.
