As a part-time host, you will be one of the voices connecting communities in Middle Tennessee and beyond to a deep and diverse musical experience. Our hosts do not just press play or read copy. They know the music and provide insight, context, and history while using their passionate curiosity to capture the listener’s attention.
You’ll also keep Middle Tennessee plugged into emerging news and information and keep the audience engaged with the Nashville music scene. There will be opportunities to share and develop new ideas and meaningfully contribute to the growth of a vital, new music service. Job Responsibilities
- Host weekend air shifts and weekday fill-in opportunities
- Show prep
- Occasional interviews with musicians and other community members
- Record station promos
- Opportunity to contribute to editorial features
- Opportunity to participate in music meetings
- Opportunity to participate in on-air fund drives
- Follow and enforce FCC regulations and station policies including EAS procedures
- Other duties as assigned
