Center for Pain and Supportive Care is hiring a Locum Tenens Clinician with an active license in Arizona. Our mission is to support patients on their pain journey by improving their quality of life and ensuring that no patient loses a day to pain. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with chronic pain or pain related to cancer. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pain management, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized pain management treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and/or therapy per practice guidelines
- Practice in a safe and compliant manner in accordance to practice polices and protocols as well as state and national regulatory licensing guidelines.
- Refer for procedures and device implants as deemed medically necessary for patients
- Educate patients and families on pain management strategies and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Master of Physician Assistant Studies or Master or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a valid Nurse Practitioner certification
- Valid license in the State of Arizona, license must be in good standing, without restrictions
- Active DEA license, without restrictions
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and interventional pain management techniques, preferred
Salary : $70 - $90
