At Center for Pain & Supportive Care (CPSC), our mission is to support patients on their pain journey by improving their quality of life and ensuring that no patient loses a day to pain.
In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with chronic pain secondary to complex conditions or pain related to cancer utilizing a multi-modal approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pain management, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care. You should be comfortable working autonomously and with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized pain management treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and/or therapy per practice guidelines
- Practice in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with practice polices and protocols as well as state and national regulatory licensing guidelines
- Refer for procedures and device implants as deemed medically necessary for patients
- Refer for CPSC behavioral interventions when medically necessary
- Manage after-hour phone calls for cancer patients, typically weekly call is every three weeks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within NextGen Electronic Health Record
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of pain management interventions and treatment plans
- Opportunity to develop skills to manage Targeted Drug Delivery and Neurostimulation Systems
- Opportunity to perform interventional procedures within scope of practice
Requirements:
- Master of Physician Assistant Studies or Master or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a valid Nurse Practitioner certification
- Valid license in the state of Arizona without restrictions
- Valid DEA license without restriction
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and interventional pain management techniques, preferred

- 8:00 to 4:30, 3 days per week

Salary : $78,000 - $87,000
