Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants as needed
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified surgical technology program
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
