We partner with supportive and transitional housing programs, shelters, and outreach teams to deliver high-quality, person-centered care directly in the community. As the Deputy Director of Operations for Psychiatry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and effective day-to-day operations of Janian Medical Care’s psychiatric services. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Program Officer, you will work closely with executive leadership, internal departments, external funders, and community partners to oversee program administration, optimize operations, and drive service excellence.
This role requires a strategic thinker and operational leader who can balance high-level planning with hands-on implementation. You will be responsible for managing grant-funded psychiatric and medical services, overseeing fee-for-service billing, and maintaining relationships with over 80 partner sites to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee administrative operations for psychiatric services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality.
- Cultivate strong relationships with partner organizations to support effective service integration.
- Monitor and manage program budgets, contracts, and grant-funded initiatives, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise administrative staff and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
- Partner with the recruitment team to attract and retain top medical, psychiatric, nursing, and administrative talent.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion and innovation, working closely with medical directors and leadership to develop strategic initiatives.
