POSITION SUMMARY:The Project Manager/Mobility Coach is responsible for overseeing the Clean Corps transitional employment model, including coordinating weekly meetings with the lead agency, managing the program budget, monitoring and submitting staff time sheets, reconciling discrepancies, and conducting periodic field visits to assess staff performance. This role also includes providing data support for reporting and creating staff engagement plans to help transitional employees move toward full-time employment. In addition to project management, the Project Manager/Mobility Coach will provide mobility coaching to transitional staff, focusing on career development and professional growth. In collaboration with the Center for Urban team, including the Supportive Services Manager and Employment Specialist, the Project Manager/Mobility Coach will address barriers to success and help promote long-term employment outcomes. The role also involves overseeing all aspects of the Clean Corps project, ensuring compliance with program requirements and grant metrics, and partnering with team members to ensure successful program implementation. Through mobility coaching, the Project Manager/Mobility Coach will empower staff with the tools and guidance necessary to achieve sustainable life and employment outcomes.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- Project Management & Staff Oversight:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clean Corps transitional employment model, including managing project timelines, budget tracking, and timesheet management for staff.
- Coordinate with the lead agency to ensure alignment with program goals, addressing any challenges or discrepancies in real-time.
- Monitor staff performance through regular site visits, ensuring Clean Corps staff members are meeting expectations and delivering quality services.
- Support the development of staff engagement activities aimed at fostering professional growth and promoting the transition of employees into full-time employment roles.
- Mobility Coaching & Workforce Development:
- Provide ongoing mobility coaching for transitional employment staff, including guidance on career advancement, professional behavior, and workplace navigation.
- Collaborate with the Supportive Services Manager and Employment Specialist to assess and address any barriers to success for program participants.
- Coordinate with employment specialists to ensure successful placement of enrollees into full-time positions after completing the Clean Corps program.
- Deliver support and coaching to program participants as they build their soft skills, including communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
- Program Coordination & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and report data to evaluate the progress and success of Clean Corps participants, ensuring the program meets established performance metrics and grant requirements.
- Prepare and submit timely program reports to funders, providing updates on outcomes, challenges, and any areas needing attention.
- Track and document program activities, ensuring all records and case notes are accurate and up-to-date in the CFUF database.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with key partners, including Bon Secours, and the CFUF team to ensure clear communication and successful collaboration.
- Actively participate in CFUF’s team meetings and community outreach efforts, contributing to strategies that increase program retention and completion rates for Clean Corps participants.
- Support program success by liaising with other community-based organizations and resources, ensuring participants have access to supportive services as needed.
- Training & Development:
- Support the implementation of workforce development training programs to enhance participants' professional skills and readiness for permanent employment.
- Provide ongoing assessments and feedback to Clean Corps participants to ensure their development aligns with workforce expectations.
- Site Visits & Quality Control:
- Conduct regular site visits to Clean Corps locations to assess service delivery, evaluate the quality of the program, and ensure compliance with program standards and funder requirements.
- Monitor program quality control efforts to ensure the Clean Corps program meets or exceeds all defined metrics.
- Other Duties:
- Participate in supervision meetings and professional development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful implementation of Clean Corps and workforce development goals.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of three years of practical working experience in training and/or teaching environment.
- Proven experience working directly with diverse populations such as returning citizens, at-risk young adults, individuals suffering from the disease of addiction, people experiencing homelessness and housing instability, public assistance recipients, and the working poor.
- Knowledge of transitional employment best practices
- Knowledge of the framework around cognitive behavioral theory, social work, and/or human services concepts.
- Must be technologically proficient and able to provide training in both virtual and in-person environments
