Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company. This role is responsible for recording transactions, managing accounts payable / receivable, and preparing monthly financial statements, including the income statement and balance sheet. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Transaction Recording :
Accurately record all financial transactions, including daily income, expenses, and journal entries in the general ledger.
Review and process invoices for payment.
Prepare monthly income statement, balance sheet, and other financial reports.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Prepare information necessary, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Generate and analyze financial reports for management review, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial assets.
