The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a Partner Account Specialist position in the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program (55 or older) to work at the National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory operated by the Environmental Protection Agency based in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Center is looking for smart, motivated professionals to join this innovative federal partnership to help businesses assess and improve supply chain energy efficiency and cut fuel costs and harmful emissions. As a valued SmartWay Partner Account Specialist, you will work directly with name‐brand companies, major logistics companies, trucking firms, and other freight carriers, helping them to:
- Complete their annual partner data submissions, including reviewing their data for accuracy.
- Understand their outputs and reports.
- Benchmark and track their freight transportation operational efficiency.
- Consider strategies to improve efficiency.
In the course of this work, daily duties include phone calls with program partner representatives, data entry and analysis, and reviewing performance data for accuracy. Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria: be 55 years of age or older; be eligible to work in the United States; be able to pass a Federal Background check; possess a bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical, engineering, business, or related field.
Hours & Compensation:
Full‐time position working 40 hours per week @ $39,957 per year ($19.21 per hour), plus benefits including employer-paid health insurance and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave.
