Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Vocational Services, the Filter Center Manager is responsible for the operations management of the Filter Center for adults with developmental disabilities. This includes providing adequate staffing, budgeting, sales, inventory & supply management and oversight of all filter center operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares the manufacturing team to execute strategic company objectives. Leads initiative to ensure business growth and meet or exceed customer expectations through continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.
- Develops and implements plan operations system improvements by leading continuous improvement projects as assigned and by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Develops and executes strategic operational processes, policies, procedures and measurements to achieve financial and service goals within manufacturing operations.
- Plans and manages business unit/department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.
- Develops plant operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements.
- Maintains and improves customer service levels for all business units served, including making regular customer calls to ensure satisfaction and to procure feedback. Ensures clear communications among business units and understanding of new and changing business requirements.
- Increase revenue with existing and new customers.
- Manages manufacturing schedule to support improved productivity and reliability. Ensures manufacturing team meets or exceeds budget targets for limiting scrap and not-in-specification production. Supports all established plant and departmental goals and objectives.
- Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, motivation and communication for front-line hourly personnel to achieve goals.
- Provides leadership and support for leads, job coaches and clients to continuously improve productivity, communications and morale. Works as a team member with others to ensure consistency of operations and alignment with company goals and strategies, administer CFL and plant policies and procedures to ensure safety in the plant.
- Communicates and collaborates cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues.
- Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
- Prepares, communicates and educates client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization.
- Develops team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term production and sales goals.
- Apprises Director of Vocational Services of team progress toward departmental and sales goals.
- Maintains current and accurate records in QuickBooks to allow for ease of reporting for state required reporting.
- Protects privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to the clients, employees, facility information and records.
- Maintains neat appearance, good personal hygiene and appropriate attire.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Must comply with all Center of Family Love’s internal policies, including attendance, appearance, and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or five years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Deadline driven, and have business management knowledge and sales acumen.
- Advanced computer literacy is required including Microsoft Office.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, and auto insurance as required by the State of Oklahoma. Must pass the required background check, and have no prior listing on the Oklahoma Community Registry.
- Must complete, at the Center of Family Love’s expense, all state mandated training within the timeframes specified, including Medication Administration Training, CPR & 1st Aid, MOPI, and DHS training.
