Filter Service/Warehouse Operations
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
Position Overview
Responsible for changing filters on customer sites and warehouse duties as assigned by Service Manager. Duties are detailed below, but also may include items not listed as deemed appropriate by EEI Management.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Performs distribution services including receiving, shipping, order selection and inventory control.
- Follows all safe loading and unloading principals to ensure the safety and security of all.
- Operates all types of warehousing equipment that include all warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Assists in the development and facility layout to optimize storage capacities in the facility.
- Maintains a courteous and professional relationship with all customers to ensure future growth and continual good relationships.
- Maintains inventory integrity by thoroughly and accurately receiving merchandise and auditing outbound orders for accuracy.
- Reports all internal damage to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintains a safe and harmonious work environment. Reports all safety risks and work related injuries to the Parts Leader.
- Delivers parts to customer locations or job sites as assigned and/or necessary.
- Performs filter changes for customers
- Tracks filter change requirements for assigned customers
- Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and three to five years of warehouse and inventory related experience.
- Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, Construction, Parts or Inventory industry experience is a plus.
- Moderate PC skills in Microsoft Office 2007 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Other Skills/Abilities
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in an warehouse / office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
