Overview
Automation Test Lead is the think tank of QA Process Technology. Provides Solution for QA Projects, Frameworks, Environment Scaling, Automation, Performance, Strategy, QA Road map and reports to Sr. QA Manager.
Responsibilities
- This position will lead all Automation Engineers, including offshore teams, and oversee all technical efforts with cross-functional teams
- Experienced in optimizing testing processes reduce Functional/Regression cycle time in project.
- Plan and develop testing processes, procedures, support automated testing tools and governance
- Define testing architecture, test strategy/test plan and best test practices
- Identify key functional-validation points, Test Approach, Test Design, Evaluate Test Coverage and standardize QA Estimation Process.
- Hands on experience with all types of testing – Functional, API, UI, Regression, Automation, Performance
- Hands on experience with Automation, Performance tools/frameworks like TOSCA, Playwright, JMeter, K6
- Define the overall process and deliverables across SDLC for engineering quality like templates, checklists and tools (for test management / defect / reporting/Dashboard)
- Work with the product owner and development team to define and prioritize test cases to meet sprint goals and automation goals for CI/CD pipeline.
- Define test data requirements and interdependencies across applications
- Provide guidelines and recommendations on different tools and technologies
- Provide regular status updates to QA Manager regarding testing progress
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining standard QA practice across board, which should help increase test automation and give visibility on QA efforts
Qualifications
- 15 years of relevant experience in Testing vertical
- Minimum 5 years lead experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Equivalent experience required
- Hands on experience building test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, TOSCA, Git
- Worked in a fast-paced Agile development environment
- Perform test readiness and operational readiness review activities
- Strong problem-solving Skills, written skills

- Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethic
