Full-Time Therapist: Post-Doctoral Fellow
Centered Therapy Chicago (CTC), is a female owned group private practice in the Ravenswood/Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago. We view clients from a holistic perspective and take a mind/body/spirit approach to our work. We utilize a feminist, relational, strength-based, collaborative approach in our work. We offer a range of evidence-based practices and integrate mindfulness, meditation, movement, creative/expressive therapies, and somatic approaches as needed.
We are looking for full-time Post-Doctoral Fellow(s) to join our growing group practice. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, relational, and team-oriented therapist who wants to grow as a clinician, supervisor, and leader in a supportive community that focuses on training and learning. Someone who is open, curious, independent, driven, collaborative, relational, creative, fun, connected, and social justice minded would be a great fit for CTC.
We are open to clinicians who would like to work primarily in office, with some availability for remote work.

- Intake coordination
- Abundant and intentional referrals with attention to promoting client assignments that are a good fit between therapist and client
- Billing support which includes insurance billing, coordination of benefits/eligibility, and claims submission

Requirements:
*Completion of Doctoral Degree requirements prior to employment.
- Experience with a variety of client populations and clinical issues, particularly trauma, attachment, relational and/or relationship issues, grief and loss, life transitions, eating concerns, and/or identity issues.
- Multicultural competence and ability to demonstrate respect and appreciation of cultural issues and how they impact the therapeutic process.
- Strong ability to work from a multicultural, feminist and/or relational cultural framework. Must have a strong understanding of identity issues and sociocultural influences
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Two or more of the following:
- Trauma Informed Care: A strong understanding of trauma informed care and/or strong ability to work with developmental/complex trauma
- Body-Oriented Psychotherapy: Training in body-oriented psychotherapy such as Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, NARM, Yoga Therapy, or willingness to gain additional training in this area after starting employment
- Couples/Relational Therapy: Couples training and experience (EFT or Gottman preferred) or willingness to gain additional training in this area after starting employment
- Child/Adolescent Therapy: Play therapy training and experience with young children, children, or adolescents or willingness to gain additional training in this area after employment
- Family Therapy: Parent-child and/or Family therapy training and experience or willingness to gain additional training in this area after employment
- Eating Concerns: Training and experience working with disordered eating from HAES, Intuitive Eating and/or other non-diet approaches or willingness to gain additional training in this area
This is a full-time position (40 hours a week) for 12 months with caseload to gradually increase from the date of hire and adhering to clinical expectations outlined below.
- By 90 Day Review – Schedule 20 sessions weekly
- By 12 Months – 22 sessions met a week
